Pitching of film projects for state financial support in 2022 has been completed. 204 applicants took part in the pitching, of which 118 were full length and 86 were short length films. The projects divided into categories as follows: socially significant feature films - 60; films intended for a wide audience – 5; co–production films – 7; debut films – 76; socially significant animated films – 14; socially significant documentaries, including event films – 42.
At the end of the pitch, the Expert Council summed up the results and issued its conclusion. It lists projects that are recommended for state financial support. Now, documents are being prepared for the Interdepartmental Commission. The results of the competition will be announced after the decision of the authorized body.
